Before and after our Sunday service, we have coffee available at Lakeside Cafe, located in the Fellowship Hall. Please join us!

We’d love to get to know you and answer your questions! A welcome table is located in the Fellowship Hall after service. Please stop by for more information as you enjoy some coffee.

*Younger children will participate in children's church during the service then move to the fellowship hall and classrooms for age appropriate Bible lessons and activities.

From I-95 or the Florida Turnpike, exit Southern Boulevard and go east to Flagler Drive.  Turn right (south) at the light at Flagler Drive, and the church is 0.3 miles on the right-hand side at 4601 S. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Florida, 33405.  The main entrance driveway is on the south end of the property and is clearly marked.

Clearly marked visitor parking is available on the southeast end of our property, just to your right as you enter the main driveway (yes, it’s OK to park on the grass!).  You may also proceed to the rear of the building to our main parking lot. There is also overflow parking available in the grass lot on the north side of the property.

There are entrances on the north, east and west side of the building. A greeter will welcome you and direct you to the sanctuary. If you’ve parked in the main parking lot on the rear of the property, enter through the breezeway on the west side of the building. If you parked in the overflow lot, there is an entrance door on the north side of the sanctuary just across the driveway.

The dress and atmosphere tends to be relaxed but reverent. You can wear jeans. You can wear a tie. It’s your decision. We function under the truth that God looks upon the heart, not the outward appearance. We ask only that you dress modestly and take into consideration others. The music is Christ-exalting, and typically traditional. Messages are exposited from the Bible, and at times and seasons follow the liturgical calendar. They are designed to glorify Jesus Christ and taught in a relevant manner.

Children in Worship

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”  (Matthew 19:14)  At Lakeside, we love and welcome children of all ages to join us in worship!  The sounds of shuffling feet, dropped pens and shushed whispers are not distractions in the service but rather reminders of the future of Christ’s church among us.  We believe children learn to “love the Lord their God with all their heart” by worshiping alongside their parents, their peers, and church family. If parents prefer, a staffed infant/toddler nursery is available in room 102.

Each worship service includes a children’s sermon, and all children are invited to come forward and participate and then return to sit with their families for the remainder of the service. Special “Kids Only” bulletins are available each week, along with children’s Bibles and crayons.  Parents can pick one up from an usher or greeter. Each child of God is a precious part of Christ’s church and we believe that it is vital for worship opportunities to be available and suited for each age.

Disability Assistance

The church is accessible to wheelchairs via the visitor parking area and the main doors on the east side of the building. Marked handicapped parking spaces are also available on the south side of the building.  Assisted listening devices and large-print bulletins are available; just ask one of the ushers for more details.
