Presbyterian Youth Fellowship (aka PYF)

    Under the direction of Emily Purr, Youth Director, we have a growing youth program open to all middle and senior high school youth.  We have an awesome group of teenagers who participate in a Sunday morning Bible study before the Worship Service. It is a tribute that the youth begged for a Wednesday night Bible study to coincide with the adult Bible study. 

     In the past year the PYF members and friends helped facilitate our vacation Bible School and our seasonal events for the children of this church and in the surrounding neighborhood.   

    The youth group's activities have included ice skating, movies in Delray, a Superbowl party, a car wash, the CROS (Christians Reaching Out to Society) Walk,a  Christmas Caroling party in December and several lock-ins.  The pastor challenged the youth to raise enough money/canned goods for CROS (2000 pounds of food  and or dollars) putting a haircut on the line.  The youth made it and Pastor Ryan got "clipped."
