In addition to managing the business side of the church, Fran is the Clerk of the Session and chairs the Worship and Music Committee. Fran's favorite scripture is is Roman's 8: 38-39 "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Tom Hobbs

Tom and his wife Janice have been members of Lakeside since 1974 and have baptized their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at Lakeside. Tom was ordained as an elder in 1980 and has served 6 terms. He has served as the treasurer since 2012.

Richard Zehl
Assistant Treasurer
Richard Zehl researched and visited several churches of varied denominations searching for a church home before he stopped in at Lakeside Presbyterian and was greeted by an elder in the parking lot the first Sunday in July 2025. The elder introduced Rich to several folks and then led him into the beautiful sanctuary, where he was overwhelmed by the feeling of coming home and being greeted by the Holy Spirit. He felt this was the answer to his prayers to be led to the church where God wanted him to worship. Three weeks later he joined the church as an official member. His favorite scripture is Psalm 23:4: "Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no Evil for thou are with me. Thy Rod and thy staff, they comfort me."
Denise Proffitt has been keeping our facility clean and in working condition since the summer of 2024. She is married to Jim Proffitt and together they are raising their grandson. She often goes above and beyond for our church, including cooking and setting up for church luncheons and other special events at Lakeside, and cheerfully helping members of the congregation whenever help is needed.
